July 19th, 2022 (Saint Paul, MN): The Minnesota Gun Owners Political Action Committee, the political fund of the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus – the trusted voice of Minnesota’s gun owners to defend and restore the right to keep and bear arms, has endorsed Jim Schultz (GOP) for Minnesota Attorney General.
“Change is long overdue for the Minnesota Attorney General’s office, ” stated Rob Doar, Senior Vice President, Government Relations. “Keith Ellison has abused his power as Attorney General to repeatedly attack the constitutional right to keep and bear arms enjoyed by citizens in Minnesota.”
“Jim Schultz is the right leader to take the helm in the Minnesota Attorney General’s office, ” added Bryan Strawser, Chair. “As Attorney General, Keith Ellison has argued against a right to bear arms, in favor of magazine restrictions, and against the right of young adults to own and carry firearms.”
“Jim Schultz has a deep commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law. As Attorney General, Jim will be a staunch defender of law-abiding gun owners and a champion for public safety,” stated Doar.
The Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus & PAC will work with gun owners and other voters in the state to ensure Jim Schultz succeeds in his primary and moves on to defeat Keith Ellison in November.
