SF11 - Expanding Tax Exemptions for Firearm Storage Devices

What it Does
- This bill expands the sales tax exemption for firearm storage units by adding firearm safety devices, such as cable locks and other devices.
- This bill adds privacy protections for gun owners by ensuring that any data that is collected about firearm storage + safety devices is classified as private, nonpublic data, exempting it from the provisions of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
