YouTube Video VVVWOUNoOTZvdml2OHBRNlpmUHBKWjR3LjlDLVhkWDMzS1k0 At the 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment at the Minnesota State Capitol, Bryan Strawser, Chair of the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, lays out exactly what gun owners are facing this session—and what comes next.

From sweeping proposed bans on commonly owned firearms and magazines, to efforts to eliminate state preemption and criminalize law-abiding gun owners, Bryan breaks down the real agenda behind the latest wave of legislation.

His message is clear:
This isn’t about criminals. It’s about controlling you.

But this speech isn’t just a warning. It’s a roadmap:
 • Show up
 • Contact your legislators
 • Get involved in elections
 • Support the lawsuits holding the state accountable

Because the fight isn’t just at the Capitol. It’s in the courts, and it’s on the ballot this November.

MNGOC Chair Bryan Strawser at 2026 Rally: Get in the Fight Before It’s Too Late
At the 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment at the Minnesota State Capitol, Kostas Moros, Director of Legal Research & Education for the Second Amendment Foundation, delivers a blunt warning:

Minnesota is heading down the same road as California.

Drawing on real-world experience, Moros explains what “common sense” gun control actually looks like in practice and how it turns a constitutional right into a costly, restricted privilege. From bans and fees to carry restrictions, he lays out what happens when politicians keep pushing for “just one more” law.

His message is simple: it doesn’t make you safer, and it never stops.

Keynote Speaker Kostas Moros at 2026 Rally: Don’t Let Minnesota Become California
At the 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment at the Minnesota State Capitol, Senior Vice President of Government Relations Rob Doar delivers a powerful, unapologetic defense of one of the most important phrases in American history:

“Shall not be infringed.”

In this speech, Rob exposes the decades-long pattern of government overreach—where every crisis becomes an excuse to chip away at the rights of law-abiding Americans:
 • The National Firearms Act of 1934 and the birth of federal gun control
 • The Gun Control Act of 1968 and the expansion of restrictions under the guise of “safety”
 • The failed 1994 Assault Weapons Ban—and the refusal to admit it didn’t work
 • The endless cycle: tragedy → fear → legislation → more restrictions on lawful citizens

But this isn’t just history—it’s a turning point.

Rob walks through the constitutional revival that changed everything:
 • District of Columbia v. Heller – affirming the individual right to keep and bear arms
 • McDonald v. City of Chicago – applying that right to the states
 • New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen – restoring the proper constitutional test rooted in text, history, and tradition

And right here in Minnesota:
 • Worth v. Jacobson – defeating unconstitutional age-based restrictions on the right to carry
 • Ongoing legal battles holding the state accountable when it tries to sneak unconstitutional provisions into omnibus bills

Rob makes one thing clear:

👉 Rights are not restored by accident—they are restored because people fight.

This speech is a call to action:
 • Support the organizations doing the work
 • Fund the litigation that defends your rights
 • Show up—in court, at the Capitol, and in your community

Because history doesn’t remember those who sat on the sidelines.

“Shall Not Be Infringed” – Rob Doar’s Powerful Speech at 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment
At the 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment at the Minnesota State Capitol, Anna Leamy, Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy for the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, delivers a clear-eyed, no-nonsense update on the legislative battlefield.

In this speech, Anna breaks down what’s really happening at the Capitol:
 • A full-scale push for gun control from DFL leadership
 • Bills targeting lawful gun owners from every angle—magazine bans, so-called “assault weapon” bans, preemption repeal, campus carry bans, and more
 • The razor-thin margins in both chambers that make every vote critical
 • How anti-gun lawmakers are using procedural tactics to force votes
 • Why grassroots pressure from YOU is making the difference

She also highlights the relentless work being done behind the scenes—testifying in committees, submitting written testimony, and meeting directly with legislators—but makes one thing crystal clear:

👉 That’s not enough without you.

This fight is being decided in real time—and your calls, emails, and votes are what hold the line.

2026 Rally: One Vote Away: Anna Leamy Warns of Anti-Gun Push in Minnesota
🚨 This is what we’re fighting for. 🚨

Not headlines. Not politics.
Freedom.

From the courts to the Capitol, every victory comes from one thing:
Minnesotans who refuse to give up their rights.

This video tells that story—and the fight ahead.

The Fight for Your Second Amendment Rights Starts Here
🚨 WHAT JUST HAPPENED ON THE HOUSE FLOOR

DFL leadership tried to ram through:
❌ A magazine ban
❌ A near-total ban on semi-auto rifles, shotguns, and even handguns

They used an “urgency” motion to bypass the normal process.

Twice.

Both FAILED. 67–67.

That means:
👉 These unconstitutional bills are STOPPED (for now)
👉 They’re stuck in committee, but still alive
👉 Your rights held the line tonight

Much credit to House Republicans for standing firm and holding the line under pressure.

Make no mistake — they WILL try again.

Stay engaged. Stay loud. We’re not done. 💥

Testimonials

Nicky S.

“Being a member of the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus and a 2nd Amendment Defender is the least I can do.

I can’t thank you guys enough for all you do. You help more women keep their right to defend themselves. I’m honored to help.”

Gerald Nystrom

“Keeping up on what is going with the Minnesota legislature is a task, to say the least.

If you want to be informed as to what is happening with respect to your gun rights, the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus is the group to support. Not only with current emails but they are also very active with the local talk radio media.

Love those guys for making me smarter.”
Steve G.

“The MN Gun Owners Caucus gives me a voice in 2nd amendment issues that is much more forceful than I could be on my own. Rather than being self-serving, the caucus is laser-focused on the rights of its members.

I have been and will continue to be a Second Amendment Defender.”
