DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us for the 2025 Gun Owners Lobby Day on Wednesday\, February 26th\, 2025 from 9:30AM – 11:30AM. \n\nHear from legislative leaders\nPreparatory/training session for legislative meetings\nUpdates from Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus leaders and allies\n\nThis year\, we’re facing a mostly tied and divided legislature in the Minnesota House and Senate. \nWe’re already seeing extreme anti-gun bills\, including carry bans\, mandatory safety training\, and more coming from House & Senate DFLers. \nWhy you should attend \nAnti-gun groups and their activists have been active this session\, just as they have been in years past. Even if they support gun control initiatives\, elected officials must hear directly from you as their constituent. \n\nThe Details:  Where\, when\, and what will I be doing?\n\nGun Owners Lobby Day will be Wednesday\, February 26th\, 2025 from 9:30AM – 11:30AM.\n\n\nCheck-in with our team in the State Capitol Vault.\n\nWe will have information for you\, including a list of current pro-gun and anti-gun bills\, speaking points to use with legislators and other materials.\nOur staff and volunteers will be able to answer any questions you have about the legislative process\, current bills\, ratings for legislators\, and information about the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus.\n\n\nGo meet with your legislators!\n\nYou should schedule time with your Senator and Representative to meet during this time. You can do so by contacting them directly and letting them know you’d like a few minutes to talk as their constituent.  You can find out who your legislators are and their contact information using the “Who Represents Me?” website.\nWe’ll have easy-to-follow speaking points to get you through the conversation – and maps to help you navigate through the complex.\n\n\nCome back to the State Capitol Vault and let us know how it went.\n\nMinnesota is fortunate to have a highly available citizen-legislature that welcomes engagement from all political spectrums and beliefs. Even if your Representative or Senator supports gun control\, you’ll generally find them open to discussion and the chance to hear from a constituent. \nThis is a critically important event in the upcoming legislative session. SUMMARY:2025 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment
DESCRIPTION:Join the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus for the 2025 Rally to Defend the 2nd Amendment in the Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda on Saturday\, March 29th\, 2025 from 11:30AM – 1:00PM.  Doors will open at 11:00AM. \nUnlike previous years\, the DFL trifecta has been broken.  Over the past two years\, the DFL has RAMRODDED through gun control bills\, bending the rules and our state and federal constitution to its breaking point. \nGroups like Michael Bloomberg’s “Everytown” and “Moms Demand Action” spent millions of dollars to bring their out-of-state funded anti-gun politics to the door of the Minnesota legislature. \nWe need to keep up the pressure all throughout the entire legislative session to stop gun control in its tracks and push forward with pro-Second Amendment bills that protect peaceable Minnesotans. \nWhat better way than to have thousands of law-abiding gun owners rally to make sure their voices are heard? \nWe will have speakers from all over the gun rights movement here in Minnesota\, including elected officials. \nTimeline \n\n11:00 AM: Doors open\n11:30AM – 1:00 PM:   Rally\n\nWe’re holding the event on a Saturday so that folks that work during the week can attend – and indoors so that we can avoid any weather challenges in April. \nRSVP BELOW\, SAVE THE DATE and SPREAD THE WORD. \nNote:  You may carry a handgun at the State Capitol Complex as long as you have a valid Minnesota Permit to Carry. Long-gun carry inside the buildings is prohibited by statute. We recommend carrying concealed. Flag poles & signs on a stick are prohibited. Signs and flags are welcome\, however – but must be carried by hand.  We will have Caucus signs available. \nWe hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Join the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus for the 2026 Rally to Defend the Second Amendment in the Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda on Saturday\, April 11\, 2026 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. \nDue to weapons screening requirements\, we recommend arriving no later than 11:00 AM. \nOver the past several years\, Minnesota gun owners have faced relentless attacks from anti-gun politicians and well-funded national advocacy groups. With the help of out-of-state money from organizations like Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action\, the Minnesota Legislature has repeatedly pushed unconstitutional gun control targeting peaceable\, law-abiding citizens. \nAnd the pressure hasn’t stopped. \nAlready this legislative session\, anti-gun lawmakers have pushed forward sweeping gun control proposals — including broad bans on commonly owned semi-automatic rifles\, bans on standard-capacity magazines\, and repeal of Minnesota’s statewide firearm preemption law. These extreme proposals have already received hearings at the Capitol. \nThese policies don’t target criminals. \nThey target you. \nBut Minnesota gun owners have also been fighting back — and winning. \nFrom grassroots organizing to major legal victories like Worth v.
